Personal Items at 701 Loyola
Hello everyone, we have set a time to retrive some of our files and allow employees to retrive some of their personal items. The date is Thursday November 10, 2005. The Postal Tower will be open for four or five hours on that day. Those of you who located out of the area can combine a trip to retrive your personal items with a holiday and extended weekend.

Any idea what time 701 Loyola will be open on Thursday? Is this a bring your own box party? Or will boxes be available?

For those of us who are not able to make it in this weekend is there any possibility that we can get into the building the week of Thanksgiving to retrieve some of our personal items?

Mary, there are lots of boxes left over from the move. You will have to unfold and tape but there are plenty of tape rolls scatter on the 3rd and 5th floor.

What are the hours to enter the building? Should we also take our manuals, regs, handouts, notes, pens, electric staplers, etc, so that we have them to bring to the Gretna building when time comes? Please advise. Thank you.

I would like to know if there is another date and time for us to retrieve our belongs. I can not come to New Orleans this weekend, but can doing the week of Thanksgiving.

I was informed by Buddy that we will be allowed in the building from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday.

Please excuse my frustration, but.. could someone please answer Bob & Anne’s question in a timely manner?
For those of us living in other states, or separated from our spouses and with children in school, it is difficult to plan events when we don’t know of them far enough in in advance.
On Thursday I was hoping to drive in and retreive some “memory-refreshing” resources before returning to work, but since the building hours weren’t posted until this morning, I am unable to. Many of us have long trips and & must plan ahead.
Please tell us what day(s) and hour(s) the office will be available during the Thanksgiving week. Thank you and Happy Veteran’s Day!!!

Hello everyone. The building on Loyola will be open again on Wednesday, November 16th from 7:30 - 10:30 AM, for anyone wishing to retrieve their personal belongings.

Hello Folks. I would just like to say that this “website” has been every informative and beneficial to everyone. Look forward to seeing everyone again on or about Dec. 1, 2005.

This Thanksgiving, I’m thankful for all the friends I’ve met in New Orleans. I think about you all a lot, and wish you the best in your rebuilding or relocating tasks.
